Colter's First Backpack -- Aug. 2006

We did a real easy 2.5-mile backpack into a lake in the Island Lake area of the Beartooths. We were at about 9.500 ft., had a lake to ourselves and areas of fresh snow on the trail when we hiked out the next day.
